About Barry Johns Sausages
Based in Poles, Co. Cavan, Barry John Sausages is a family-run gourmet sausage business with almost three decades of sausage-making experience.
Barry began making sausages in his father’s artisan butcher shop in 1994, before opening a dedicated production premises in 2013. Today, the company produces an extensive range of handmade and hand-packed gourmet sausages using Irish pork and locally sourced ingredients wherever possible.
Alongside traditional favourites, Barry John Sausages has become particularly well known for its imaginative flavours, including Bacon & Cabbage, Spice Bag, Cheddar Cheese & Chilli Flakes and even Chocolate Chip & Honeycomb.
Visitors to the Strokestown Show Food Fair can look forward to discovering why this award-winning Cavan producer has built such a loyal following for sausages that are anything but ordinary.
