They apply to, as available, website access, account registration, competition entries, ticket sales, raffle ticket sales, trade stand or vendor applications, payments, and communications.
By using this website, creating an account, submitting an entry, purchasing tickets or raffle tickets, applying for a trade stand or vendor space, or attending the Show, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
If you do not agree, do not use this website or our services.
"Website" means the Strokestown Show website and any related pages, portals, and forms.
"Show" means the Strokestown Show event operated by the Show Committee.
"Services" means any services made available via the Website, including competition entries, trade stand or vendor applications, ticketing, raffle ticketing, payments, and communications.
"You" means any person using the Website or Services, including visitors, entrants, exhibitors, ticket purchasers, raffle participants, and trade stand applicants.
"Content" means all text, images, schedules, class information, prize lists, rules, results, documents, branding, logos, and other material on the Website.
You must use the Website lawfully and must not use it in a way that breaches any applicable law, infringes rights, or disrupts the Website or Services.
We may restrict, suspend, or terminate access to the Website or Services where we reasonably consider it necessary for security, operational, or compliance reasons.
The Website is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or error-free operation.
Where account registration is offered, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login details and for all activity carried out under your account.
You must ensure information you submit, including entry details, contact details, animal details, and supporting documentation, is accurate, complete, and up to date.
We may request evidence to verify eligibility, ownership, registrations, premises numbers, insurance, or other requirements relevant to the Service you are using.
The Strokestown Show Rules ("Rules") apply to participation in competitions, exhibits, animal entries, conduct on the showgrounds, and related matters.
The Rules form part of these Terms by reference.
Where these Terms conflict with the Rules on a show participation matter, the Rules will prevail for that matter.
Entries must be submitted via the Website or by Show Committee-administered entry where agreed.
Entry fees, if applicable, are displayed per class and are payable at the time of entry.
Entries close at the published deadline. Late entries are not guaranteed acceptance.
Where a class requires documentation, such as registrations or certificates, the entry may remain pending until documents are uploaded and approved.
We reserve the right to refuse, withdraw, merge, split, or cancel classes or entries where required for operational, compliance, or judging reasons, or where entry numbers require it.
Tickets are issued subject to these Terms and any ticket-specific conditions displayed at purchase.
Tickets are non-transferable and may only be used by the person named on the ticket or booking, where applicable. We may require identification and may refuse entry where we reasonably believe a ticket is being used by someone other than the purchaser or attendee it was issued for.
Tickets must be purchased only from authorised sources. Tickets that we reasonably believe to be counterfeit, altered, duplicated, resold, or obtained via unauthorised channels may be cancelled or refused entry without refund, subject to statutory rights.
We reserve the right to conduct reasonable checks for safety, security, and compliance purposes, including validating tickets and, where necessary, checking bags or containers. Refusal to cooperate may result in refusal of admission or removal from the Show without refund, subject to statutory rights.
Ticket holders must follow all steward and official instructions and comply with venue and safety requirements.
We reserve the right to refuse admission and/or remove any person whose conduct is unsafe, disorderly, abusive, threatening, or otherwise inappropriate. No refund will be given in such circumstances, subject to statutory rights.
Tickets may not be used for promotional, advertising, competition, or resale purposes without prior written permission from the Show Committee.
Raffle tickets, where offered, are subject to any raffle-specific terms displayed at purchase, including eligibility, draw date, and prize details.
We reserve the right to refuse or void raffle entries where fraud, misuse, or breach of terms is suspected.
Raffle tickets are non-refundable once purchased, except where required by statutory rights.
Trade stand or vendor applications are subject to availability, suitability, and any criteria published by the Show Committee.

No packing up: no dismantling or removal of stands, vehicles, stock, or equipment is permitted before 18:00 or other time notified by the Show Committee.

Fire certification, where applicable: if your stand setup, equipment, or activity requires certification, you must supply appropriate certification and comply with all applicable safety requirements.
Trade stand operations are also governed by the following policies, which form part of these Terms by reference: Litter & Waste Policy and Power & Electrical Policy.
Where a trade exhibitor breaches these Terms, the Rules, or any linked policy, the Show Committee may require immediate corrective action, restrict or suspend access to power or other facilities, direct partial or full closure of a stand, require removal from the showgrounds, refuse future applications or restrict attendance at future events, and apply reasonable charges or penalties reflecting direct costs incurred by the Show where applicable and proportionate.
Prices and fees are displayed on the Website and may change from time to time. The price payable is the price shown at the time you place your order or submit your entry.
Payments may be processed by third-party payment providers. You authorise us and/or our payment providers to take payment using your selected payment method.
You are responsible for ensuring you have authority to use the payment method and that sufficient funds are available.
No refunds are provided for tickets, raffle tickets, or entry fees once purchased or submitted, except where required by statutory consumer rights.
Tickets are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged or resold.
If the Show, or part of it, is cancelled, rescheduled, or materially changed, we will communicate the position on refunds or credits, if any, in line with statutory rights and any policy stated at the time of purchase.
Judging and event timings are published in the Show schedule. Judging commences in accordance with the schedule but may be subject to change on the day due to operational requirements, stewarding, weather, animal welfare, safety, or other circumstances.
