Power and electrical safety requirements for exhibitors.

This policy applies where trade exhibitors request or use electrical power on the showgrounds.
Power is subject to availability and must be requested or approved in advance where required by the Show Committee.
The Show Committee may set connection points, maximum loads, cable routes, and operating conditions for safety and operational reasons.
All electrical equipment brought on site must be safe, suitable for purpose, and in good working condition.
Leads and cables must be heavy-duty, correctly rated, and positioned to avoid trip hazards, including use of covers or matting where required.
Unsafe equipment, overloaded systems, makeshift connections, and hazardous wiring are prohibited and may be removed or disconnected.
Where certification is required for specific installations or higher-risk setups, evidence must be provided on request.
The Show Committee may disconnect power immediately where there is a safety concern, non-compliance, or risk of damage.
Exhibitors must comply promptly with all steward and official instructions relating to electrical safety.
The Show Committee is not liable for loss of stock, loss of sales, or other consequential losses resulting from power interruption, load management, safety shutdowns, or equipment failure.
Breach of this policy may result in disconnection, stand closure, removal from the showgrounds, refusal of future applications, and/or attendance restrictions at future events.
