About Fore Distillery
Set in the beautiful Fore Valley in Co. Westmeath, Fore Distillery was founded by Oliver Guirke in 2021, just a short distance from the historic Fore Abbey.
After developing a passion for distilling while living in the United States, Oliver returned to Ireland with a vision of combining the techniques and influences he had encountered abroad with the character and heritage of the Irish countryside.
Today, Fore Distillery produces its own range of Fore Valley spirits, including Golden Irish Rum, White Irish Rum and Irish Poitín, all produced, bottled and labelled on site. The distillery is also producing Irish whiskey, which is currently being matured for future release.
Visitors to the Strokestown Show Food Fair can meet the team behind this exciting Midlands distillery and discover a locally crafted range that brings together heritage, innovation and a passion for Irish spirits.
